A stamp commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Wildlife Habitat Trust (WHT) was officially launched at the CLA Game Fair 2011.
The stamp, which is sold to raise funds for the WHT, features artwork entitled “Greylag on Orkney” by Terence Lambert.
It was launched by Countryfile presenter Adam Henson, who spoke about shooting and conservation and the work of the WHT.
Adam Henson said: “For me, if you can get trusts like this working and earning money and getting capital to be able to buy wetlands, help biodiversity, create wildlife habitats, then that’s got to be a good thing and I’m a great supporter of it.”
To celebrate the WHT’s 25th anniversary, Hook Norton Brewery has produced 10,000 bottles of Giddy Goose beer. This is available to buy from the Hook Norton Brewery online http://www.hooknortonbrewery.co.uk . For every bottle sold, the WHT will receive a donation.
