The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will join forces with countryside retailer Cornwall Farmers at Wadebridge to host an open evening in the New Year.
The event will be held at Cornwall Farmers’ premises on the Trenant Industrial Estate, Wadebridge, on 18th January from 6.30pm until 9pm.
BASC’s South West regional team will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice. They will also be promoting BASC’s Taste of Game campaign with carcass preparation demonstrations and opportunities to try various game dishes.
Cornwall Farmers will be offering discounts on the night to BASC members and will have specialist staff available to answer questions.
Cornish countryman Chris Green will be talking about decoying and promoting his new DVD and Ian Hodge Fieldsports will have a selection of guns and accessories for sale.
Representatives of the Cornwall Wildfowlers’ Association and the Cornwall Deer Management Group will also be at the event.
David Gervers, BASC’s South West regional director, said: “Previous events with Cornwall Farmers have been a great success and this should be an enjoyable evening. Spread the word and we look forward to seeing you there.”
