BASC sponsored a novice retriever trial in
Leicestershire on 16 September. As well as underlining
our commitment to support our gundog clubs this
enables us to thank our hard-working volunteers by
inviting them to shoot on the day. Regional director
Steve Bloomfield picked the team from volunteers who
give up their free time year after year to work at game
fairs and other events that BASC would find hard to
staff without their help. The team shot well for a strong
field of dogs.
