There will plenty of opportunities for people in Wales to get their gundogs trained with BASC before the start of the next shooting season.
BASC Wales has organised four courses in St Clears, Carmarthenshire over the next few months to help owners train their young gundogs.
The first course in basic gundog training day (dogs up to 12 months old only) is being held on 25 April. Other courses organised include:
30 May – Training day for spaniels only (dogs must be over 12 months old)
13 June – Training day for any gundog breed other than spaniels (dogs must be over 12 months old
12 September – ‘Get your dog ready for the coming season’ (dogs must be over 12 months old). There is space for a maximum of six spaniels and six other gundog breeds on this course.
