The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is holding a one-day gundog training clinic this month to help novice gundog owners and those who need advice on particular gundog handling problems.
The course, which is being held at the Wales Gundog Training Centre near St. Clears in Carmarthenshire on Saturday 16 March, will be run by Welsh international gundog team member, Huw Jones at his training ground. Set in 70 acres of mixed cover, woodland and open space, the area can simulate all situations that will be encountered in the field.
The clinic, which starts at 10.00am, costs £20 per person. This includes coffee and biscuits on arrival but you will need to bring a packed lunch although you can buy light refreshments during the day.
