The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is offering a kids’ countryside activities day near Wrexham which will include clay target shooting instruction with trained coaches, the chance to see and fly falcons and hawks, sessions of air-rifle target shooting instruction and the chance to learn about game and gamekeeping.
The day will be held during the Easter school holidays on Thursday April 8th at the Llandegla shooting ground near Wrexham. The days costs £15 and runs from 10am to about 3pm. Certificates and goody bags will be presented at the end of the day.
Glynn Cook, BASC director for Wales said “The activity day is the perfect way for young people to find out more about the countryside around them, and to try their hand at air rifle and clay shooting in a fully supervised environment where they can learn about safety and responsibility.”
