BASC .410 world championship returns to Wales

The annual BASC .410 World Championship, which attracts competitors from across Europe and America, will be held in Wales again.

The competition will take place on Saturday 06 September at Mid Wales Shooting Centre in Trefeglwys near Caersws in Powys.

BASC country officer for Wales, Meurig Rees, said: “This year the competitors will have to shoot 100 sporting targets to get the top prizes. This competition usually attracts entrants from all over the world which makes it a really exciting and challenging event.”

The competition will start at 10am with last entries at 2pm. The entry cost will be £32 for adults, £20 for juniors. Postal entries are recommended as entries will be limited on the day. Anyone who does not own a .410 shotgun will be catered for as they will be available at each stand.
