A Young Shots’ Introductory Day will be held at Brimslade Farm in Wiltshire on the 14th July 2013.
The day, organised by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), working with Brimslade Farm will give young people a taste of countryside activities including fly-fishing for trout, the opportunity to have a shotgun lesson and the chance to try air-rifle shooting with BASC-accredited coaches. Visitors will also learn about gundogs, hide-building, pigeon decoying and wildfowling.
David Gervers, BASC’s South West regional director, said: “We are pleased to be in Wiltshire for this event which offers a range of countryside activities and we are expecting a high demand for places.”
The event at starts at 9:15 am and costs £20. The day is open to both BASC members and non-members. Places are limited so advanced booking is essential.
All BASC Young Shots who get a friend to book a place will be entered into a draw with the chance to win one of a range of prizes from a shooting DVD from Westcountry Films to a free place on a BASC Young Shot Progression Day.
