Young shots to progress their shooting skills with BASC

Young shots in the south east, who are keen to improve their shooting skills, will be able to get advice and coaching at two BASC events in August.

The first event – Young Shot Progression Day (Level 1) – is being held at West Kent Shooting School on Tuesday 11 August. The day will include theory and practical coaching from BASC shotgun coaches on a range of stands. Young shots will leave with a mini handbook of their skills including guidance notes from BASC coaches on ways to develop.

The second event – Young Shot Progression Day Level 1 & 2 – will be held at Common Leys Farm, Oxfordshire on Thursday 13 August. The day is open to all Young Shots who attended last year’s level 1 day and also to those who have not attended a progression day before but are experienced shots. Level 2 candidates will build on last year’s knowledge and targets for development whilst also being given the opportunity to take their Safe Shot assessment.

Both events cost just £35 per person and include all coaching, cartridges, clays and a light lunch. To find out more or make a booking contact BASC South East on 01798 865165 or visit the website for an application from: http://www.0ld.basc.org.uk/en/in-your-area/south-east/
