TV chef Mike Robinson has made a commitment to support BASC’s fundraising plans for building their new Communications Centre.
Mike, who was recently elected to BASC Council, has agreed to donate 10% of the cost of any course attended by a BASC member at his Game and Wild Food Cookery School in Berkshire.
The Game and Wild Food Cookery School, based at Frilsham Home Farm near Yattendon, was first conceived in 2005 and the school provides a friendly teaching area, using the most modern technology.
Mike, who fronts BASC’s Game’s On campaign, said: “I am delighted to support BASC’s fundraising activities. This offer demonstrates my commitment to supporting the Association as it prepares for the next 100 years. I believe that my offer of financial support, whilst at the same time promoting game cookery will encourage others to do likewise and ensure that BASC is fit for the next Century”.
Mike will also be demonstrating how to cook game on the BASC stand during the CLA Game Fair later this month. A new Game’s On recipe leaflet has just been produced and will be available for people to pick up on the BASC stand.
