One of Britain’s most exclusive malt whisky brands has agreed to continue its highly successful sponsorship of BASC’s Game’s On campaign.
Glenfarclas Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky will sponsor the Game’s On recipe leaflet and website as well as posters and banners.
Glenfarclas, which looks down on the Spey valley, was established in 1836 and is still owned by the original founding family
BASC’s director of operations, Simon Hamlyn, said: “I am delighted that Glenfarclas Whisky has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the Game’s On campaign in 2008. The Game’s On initiative has been hugely successful in raising awareness of game meat and this sponsorship deal will enable us to continue further our programme of activities to promote game to even more people.”
John Grant, the owner of Glenfarclas and a keen sporting man, said: “We are delighted to be involved with this very important initiative. In this day and age it is vital to source and enjoy pure natural products. Good highland malt whisky, such as Glenfarclas and well prepared game, certainly add to the enjoyment”
