A great family day out at the BASC Wales Game and Country Fair 2013

The BASC Wales Game and Country Fair offers a fun family day out on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2013 at Bodelwyddan Castle in Denbighshire. The event organised by the UK’s largest shooting organisation, The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will open at 10am on both days.

Demonstrations including historic firearms, falconry and gundogs will be held throughout the day. Visitors will also have the chance to get hands-on experience of countryside activities including the opportunity to have a shotgun lesson with a BASC-accredited coach.

People will be able to shop at stalls selling everything from clothing to crafts and enjoy a free interactive kid’s zone including an adventure playground and bouncy castle.

The BASC stand will offer visitors information on a range of subjects such as firearms, insurance and gamekeeping. BASC staff will be on hand to answer questions and give advice.

Meurig Rees director of BASC Wales said: “The BASC Wales Game and Country Fair promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family as well as a showcase for country sports. We will have some great displays and activities and look forward to welcoming everyone there on the 22nd and 23rd of June.”
