Clarissa Dickson-Wright and Sir Johnny Scott will be among the personalities entertaining the crowds at BASC’s northern region roadshows in Chester and Newcastle-upon-Tyne this November.
There will also be a wide range of trade stands, the Have-a-Go Hi Tech Laser Shooting stand and BASC’s team of experts on gamekeeping, firearms, wildfowling etc. will be supported by the regional shotgun coaching team offering free master eye tests and gunfit. The ‘Cornish Countryman’ Chris Green, wildlife and animal portrait artist John Clarke, ferreting expert Simon Whitehead and fox control expert Robert Bucknell will also be in attendance.
Phil Pugh, BASC’s director for northern England, said “We anticipate record crowds at both events which will provide a great opportunity for some Christmas shopping, a great atmosphere and something for all the family.”
The roadshows will take place on Friday 14 November at Chester Racecourse and at Newcastle’s racecourse on Friday 21 November. Both events open at 7pm with entry on the door, under 13’s and BASC Young Shots go free.
