BASC helps affiliated wildfowling clubs secure sporting rights on the Mersey Estuary

BASC has helped two wildfowling clubs on Merseyside secure new leases on Crown Estate foreshore.

The Frodsham and District Wildfowling Club and Halton Wildfowlers Association have both been granted seven year leases.

BASC’s Elisabeth Burgess, who assists affiliated clubs secure their leases and consents within Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI’s), said: “We are very pleased to have played our part in maintaining access to the foreshore for our wildfowling members on Merseyside.”
