There is an opportunity for young people in Northern Ireland to try a range of country sports at an activity day in County Down next month.
The British Association for Shooting and Conservation’s (BASC) Young Shots day will be held on 21 February at the Field of Dreams centre in Bangor.
Activities on the day will include shotgun coaching lessons from BASC coaches, using the new Marksman ST-2 shooting simulator, archery, air rifle shooting, fly casting and ATV driving.
Tommy Mayne from BASC Northern Ireland said: “The Marksman ST-2 simulator provides an excellent opportunity for Young Shots to try simulated shotgun and rifle shooting. It demonstrates how to improve shooting technique and was used by Olympic shooters to sharpen their skills before the last Games.”
The day costs £10 including lunch – for more information please contact BASC Northern Ireland on 028 9260 5050.
