Sporting shooters in Northern Ireland will be able to learn more about non-lead shot cartridges at two special BASC workshops in July and August.
The ‘come and try’ workshops have been organised by BASC Northern Ireland to help shooters find the best options before lead shot restrictions come into force in the Province on 1 September.
People will be able to try out the various loads using pattern plates and clay targets under controlled conditions. Experts from BASC’s head office will also be on hand to give an overview of the other regulations already in force in the rest of the UK.
The workshops are taking place on 31 July at the Field of Dreams in Bangor and at the Florencecourt Clay Club in County Fermanagh on 1 August. To register for the workshops or for more information please contact BASC Northern Ireland on 028 9260 5050
