Nominations for a seat on BASC Council are now open.
An election will be held later this year for a national seat on the association’s governing board.
BASC chief executive Ian Bell said: “A position on BASC’s Council is a unique and privileged position. Not only will you represent our membership but, most importantly, you will be helping to secure shooting sports for future generations.”
BASC chairman Peter Glenser QC added: “Are you a keen shooter and passionate about the sport? Would you like to do more to support sporting shooting and help make the voice of shooting even louder and clearer? Then why don’t you consider standing for election to BASC Council?”
Nominations for election must be made formally in writing and submitted to the chief executive before the close of business on Thursday 31st January 2019.
They must be signed by the candidate, a proposer and a seconder, who must all be members of the association and entitled to vote.
Nomination packs can be downloaded from the BASC website here.
The result will be announced at the BASC AGM in June 2019.
