Voting is now open in the 2017 BASC Council election.
Ballot papers have been sent out to all BASC members with the March/April edition of Shooting & Conservation magazine and BASC members can now vote online at www.0ld.basc.org.uk
There are two candidates contesting one National seat and two candidates contesting the one Welsh seat. The one candidate nominated for the Scottish seat is unopposed.
BASC chairman Peter Glenser said: “This is your chance to have your say on who helps shape the future of BASC. I would urge all BASC members to take the opportunity to cast their vote and make their voice heard.”
BASC’s acting chief executive Christopher Graffius said: “BASC is an organisation owned by the membership, and we are very proud of the democratic and mutual nature of the association. I urge every member to take the time to vote for representatives on Council who can take the association forwards. Looking to the future, members’ votes today will have an impact on the health of shooting tomorrow.”
The deadline for voting is 10.30am on Wednesday 7th June 2017.
The election results will be announced at the BASC AGM in Preston on Saturday 10th June 2017.
