Small and full-bore rifle enthusiasts are being invited to test out their target skills at BASC’s Range Day on Thursday 15th May at Budleigh Farm Target Shooting Centre, Moretonhampstead in Devon.
The event, the first of its kind organised by BASC South West, will give full-bore participants access to targets at 100 yards for zeroing and load-testing as well as deer targets at 100 yards. Small bore users can take on four sets of falling plate targets at ranges of 35-50m, zeroing targets at 50m for .22, and two sets of turning targets.
The day is open to BASC members and all abilities will be catered for.
BASC South West director, David Gervers said: “The day looks set to be very hands-on, enjoyable and sociable with lots of shooting to be had and plenty of targets for everyone. It’s on a great range just on the edge of Dartmoor and provides the opportunity to meet new shots and to talk rifles. We look forward to seeing many BASC members there.”
Experts from BASC and range owner Arthur Harvey, an experienced trainer and coach will be on hand to provide advice and guidance.
The day will start at 9:30am and costs £40 per person. Places are limited so booking is essential. For further information and to book places please contact the BASC South West office on 01884 260910 or email southwest@0ld.basc.org.uk
