There is still time to enter the 2019 Countryside Clay Shoot which will be held at the West Wycombe estate in Buckinghamshire on Saturday 25th May 2019.
The clay shoot has been organised to raise awareness and funds for the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust.
It is being sponsored by BASC and law firm Brabners and will feature six simulated game drives – including grouse.
Organisations, businesses and individuals are being encouraged to enter teams of four. The teams will compete for the Hugh van Cutsem Challenge Cup, dedicated to the memory of the keen shot and countryman.
Steve Bloomfield, BASC’s executive director of shooting and operations and a former headkeeper, said: “The Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust is a hugely important rural charity. They need our support and taking part in the Countryside Clay Shoot is a great way to show that support.
“Everybody who takes part in shooting, where would you be without the small army of gamekeepers who provide our sport every year? This is a chance to give something back and enjoy a great day.
“A limited number of places are still available for this exclusive event so get in touch as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.”
