New gundog and pet insurance package launched for BASC members

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA new comprehensive insurance policy for working gundogs and family pets has been added to the wide range of benefits available to BASC members.

The package offers a unique range of cover and optional benefits which can be tailored to suit an individual’s dogs, lifestyle and budget.

Standard benefits include veterinary fees, third party liability and costs for advertising, reward and accommodation should your dog go missing.

Optional benefits include boarding fees, breeding risk, overseas travel, holiday cancellation and death or loss. Cover for more than one pet or working dog can be added with ongoing discounts.

The package offers lifetime cover for illness or injuries which last for more than 12 months. BASC members can pick and mix the ideal levels of cover for them and their dogs from the benefit options available.

BASC is offering the cover in partnership with leading insurance provider Agria. It includes a 24 hour telephone helpline staffed by qualified veterinary nurses who can help to determine if an animal requires immediate or urgent attention.

Claims can be dealt with online, with information sent directly from the vet to the insurers, reducing hassle, cost and time. BASC members who take a policy before the end of April will receive a 50% discount for the first three months. This offer is only available by phoning 0800 369 9419.
