Kelvin Pettitt has been crowned the first ever BASC-accredited shotgun coach of the year.
Kelvin has volunteered as a BASC-accredited shotgun coach for 25 years.
He was nominated for his “long service, invaluable advice, experience and excellent problem-solving abilities”.
He was presented with a perpetual shield by BASC’s director of operations, Steve Bloomfield.
Jane Hatton from BASC’s sporting services team said: “Well done to Kelvin. A great number of nominations were received. All the nominations were very worthy of the award which made the decision-making process very difficult.
“Congratulations again to Kelvin, a very worthy winner.”
Duncan Greaves, a member of BASC Council, said: “Congratulations to Kelvin. This new initiative was a chance for people to reward a BASC shotgun coach as recognition for their hard work and dedication.”
