Duncan Thomas, BASC regional officer for the North West has been appointed acting Regional Director for Northern England. Duncan has been a BASC member for more than 20 years and is widely known for his proactive stance in supporting members’ interests across the region and beyond. His many interests include fly fishing, lowland and upland game shooting, deer management and the breeding and training of gundogs. He beats, picks-up and shoots throughout the North West and is a well-known commentator on matters concerning shooting and conservation and has a high profile on social media.
Duncan Thomas said: “I am very privileged to have the opportunity to work for our awesome sport. I welcome the opportunity to make a contribution as Acting Director to BASC Northern England.”
