A game management evening packed full of demonstrations and advice to help improve shoots will be held at Rectory Farm near Tingewick in Buckinghamshire on Thursday 8 May.
The evening, organised by the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), will feature a guided tour of the shoot’s cover crops with Marc Bull of Kings Game Cover and Conservation Crops, a presentation of the Green Shoots Mapping tool by Ian Danby, BASC’S head of biodiversity projects as well as demonstrations and advice on pest control from the BASC game & gamekeeping department.
Huw Lloyd, BASC regional officer for the South East said: “Anyone who runs a shoot or is involved with game management should be able to pick up some new ideas to help improve their shoot. After the tours and demonstrations there will be a chance to talk to BASC staff and other experts.”
The event will start at 4.00pm and costs £15 for BASC members and £20 for non-members. A buffet will be provided.
