The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), has secured a partnership with Browning International.
Browning will be the official firearms partner for the BASC Shotgun Coaching programme at UK game fairs and shooting events. Browning has supplied BASC with 20 brand-new, high quality shotguns of varying gauges and sizes which will be used for coaching.
BASC aims to give everyone receiving coaching the best possible experience. With Browning providing the guns, and fellow official partners Eley Hawk and Promatic supplying cartridges and traps, BASC has three of the best brands in their respective fields helping to support the coaching of new entrants to the sport.
Dr Peter Marshall, BASC’s director of shooting standards, said: “BASC is delighted to announce this new partnership. We are very grateful to Browning for supplying these guns. Partnerships such as this give our BASC-accredited shotgun coaches the resources and equipment to help make our shotgun coaching programme the best and most professional to help bring the next intake of shooters into the sport.”
David Stapley from Browning said: “Browning are very proud to be the exclusive firearms partner to the BASC coaching program. We have a strong commitment to encourage more new shooters into our sport and we are delighted to see so many young people excited by the opportunity of taking part. It is imperative that all new shooters are taught the responsibilities and etiquette associated with shooting disciplines and who better than the professional coaches from BASC to put this across.” ENDS
