With 1.6 million Britons going shooting each year and 97 per cent saying it improves their wellbeing, shooting has a huge personal value as well as a financial one.
That’s why the British Association for Shooting and Conservation has designated November as ‘Take a Mate Shooting Month’, to help encourage members to share their passion and introduce at least one other person to shooting.
Throughout the month, we will be holding a range of competitions to give enthusiasts and their ‘mate’ the chance to experience a range of shooting disciplines free of charge.
First up today, we will be offering two group clay lessons, one in Gloucestershire and one in Merseyside, on our Facebook page.
We are also offering members who take part the chance to win a Browning shotgun worth over £2,000 or BSA air rifle and ‘scope combination worth up to £1,000.
