BASC at the Rhug Country Fair

BASC will have a presence at the Rhug Country Fair this weekend as the event returns to the Rhug Estate after a three-year absence.

Visitors to the fair in Denbighshire can receive information on sporting shooting and membership advice at the BASC stand.

The UK’s largest shooting organisation will host a shotgun coaching line and air rifle range where visitors can try shooting for the first time under the guidance of BASC-accredited coaches. The event also stages qualifying rounds for the BASC Chudleys Scurry League.

Meurig Rees, a BASC Wales country officer, said: “We are delighted to support the return of this popular event into the calendar with the backing of one of the premier estates in North Wales. We look forward to a fantastic weekend.

“BASC’s Green Shoots Wales team and the Deer Initiative will be on BASC’s stand, along with artist Simon Trinder, Gwenllan Country Crafts, Graham Perry Gunsmith, Derek Jones of Traeth Bach Wildfowlers and the ever popular ‘Cornish Countryman’ Chris Green.”
