BASC will have a presence at Countryman Fairs’ Midland Game and Country Fair, which will be held at Weston Park in Shropshire on 16th and 17th September.
Visitors to the BASC stand will be able to get information and advice on firearms, membership services, game and deer management, wildfowling, pigeon shooting, ladies’ shooting and Taste of Game.
BASC will also host a 50 seater marquee alongside the main stand with a range of demonstrations lined up including game preparation and cookery, master eye checks, rifle maintenance, game calling and making game pies as well as a BASC Ladies Shooting reception.
Gwyn Bevan from BASC Central said: “We are very much looking forward to attending the show and to meeting our existing and new members over the course of the two days.”
There will also be the last chance to enter the BASC National Clay Shooting Competition on the Saturday before the Grand Final on the Sunday. The competition was being held as part of a Clay Shooting Festival hosted by BASC and Countryman Fairs at each of Countryman Fairs’ shows in 2017.
BASC-accredited coaches will be giving coaching lessons throughout the two days on the coaching line and there will also be a BASC airgun coaching stand where people can try airgun shooting under the expert tuition of qualified airgun coaches.
The final of the BASC Chudleys Scurry League will be held on Saturday 16th September at the fair.
Tickets will be available from the BASC stand for the 2017 BASC ATV Draw. A Suzuki King Quad 500 is up for grabs. It will be available to view on the BASC stand and tickets will be available to buy for £5 each.
