The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), has joined forces with Rivers West to launch a new range of range of waterproof and windproof game shooting clothing made from their award-winning material.
Five per cent of the trade price of the new Heritage Collection will be donated to BASC’s youth appeal which will introduce more young people to shooting.
The Heritage collection is tough, robust and guaranteed unbreakable. It also has a 10 year waterproof guarantee.
The collection includes a traditional shooting jacket, shooting coat, waistcoat, breeks and flat cap. Most of the collection is fully lined, incorporates brass zippers and snaps, and comes with suede shoulders and trim.
Nick Glazebrook, BASC’s head of fundraising and sponsorship, said: “Rivers West’s award-winning innovative materials and products are well established in the highly demanding US shooting market and have gained a strong reputation among UK stalkers and wildfowlers for their toughness. We are sure that this new Heritage range will be a big success amongst British game shots. We are also very pleased that Rivers West has agreed to support our appeal to help more young people into shooting sports by making a generous contribution for each item sold.”
Matthew Ryan, Rivers West’s executive vice president, said: “The Heritage Collection was inspired by the traditional UK shooter. It represents our efforts to provide the discerning UK shooter with the very best in technical waterproof fabrics combined with more traditional, yet refined styles. Protecting the heritage of country shooting sports is a key goal of Rivers West and we are delighted to have formed this partnership with the UK’s premier shooting organisation, BASC.”
