Eastern gamekeepers aim high at clay shoot.

 

A gamekeepers’ clay shoot has been held in Norfolk by the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). BASC’s annual Eastern Regional Gamekeepers’ Clay Shoot took place at the Mid Norfolk Shooting School.

The event was sponsored by Janssen Animal Health and King’s Game Cover and Conservation Crops. Colin Moir from King’s presented the prizes.

Jonathan Balls, from Fakenham, was the individual high gun winner, with Clifford Beck of Norwich the runner up and Silas Hetherington of Walsingham taking third place.

The highest placed non-keeper at the event on 9th March was Steve Cooper of Norwich. The winners of the team clay shoot were the Kettlestone Cowboys – Jonathan Balls, Paul Gooch and Sean Wagg.
