Looking back on last season with Fine Field Sporting

Last year we spoke to Lisa Nicholls of Fine Field Sporting about her new venture organising ladies-only game days. We caught up with Lisa to see how it had gone.

Lisa told us…

We had a very successful first season of ladies game shooting with days held on a number of exclusive estates in Cheshire, Shropshire and Yorkshire.  Feedback has been incredible with ladies commending on how welcome they were made to feel and that nothing was overlooked or too much trouble.  A handful of ladies experienced their first game day with us and then went on to book further days.

As we are true believers that you should eat game if you shoot it, all Fine Field Sporting days serve game dishes. We’re delighted to have joined the British Game Alliance (BGA) who are working tirelessly to protect the future of driven shooting and they will be providing us with more inspiration for game dishes to serve for this coming season.

We had amazing coverage throughout the season from both online and printed media and it’s encouraging that mainstream publications such as Cheshire Living Magazine chose Fine Field Sporting for a double page feature on one of our Peckforton Estate days due to the increase in popularity of ladies shooting.

With our game season nearly upon us we’ve added more estates and days to to our calendar so that we can offer ladies more choice in terms of location and bag size. Along with exceptional shooting and hospitality all of our days are set to be safe, fun, relaxed and inclusive.

Our days are filling fast so I’d encourage you to check out our website www.finefieldsporting.co.uk and our Facebook and Instagram pages for up to date information. If you’re looking for single pegs or full team days please get in touch, you will not be disappointed and I hope to see you in the field in the coming months.
