BASC South East Gundog training course dates announced

Gundog owners in the South East are being offered a chance to improve their gundog training skills at specialist classes.

The course, sponsored by Chudleys dog food, will be hosted by BASC regional gundog co-ordinator Clare Wilson in Crowborough, East Sussex. It will consist of six sessions spaced over six months. Classes are available for the novice and advanced handler.

Sessions will start in April. The novice class is open to any dog and handler wanting to work on elementary techniques. For the advanced class dogs must already be able to sit and stay, walk to heel off the lead, come when called and retrieve.

Classes are open to all breeds and ages of dog and are a fun way to meet other working dog owners and learn parts of the important techniques for working a dog in the field.
Places cost £50 per dog / handler for the complete course.

For more information and an application form contact BASC’s South East office on 01798 865165 or visit the regional diary pages on-line at www.0ld.basc.org.uk to download an application form.  Places must be booked.

Classes will be held on April 11th, May 9th, June 13th, July 11th, August 8th and September 12th.
