• Dangers in the field.
• Guns and cartridges.

Courses will be held at Staple Fitzpaine, near Taunton in Somerset, on 20th April; at Chelmsford in Essex on 24th March and at Stockton on Tees on 28th April. A course will be held in the South East in September.

Glynn Evans, BASC’s head of game and gamekeeping, said: "Woodpigeon are the UK’s number one agricultural pest. These courses are designed to improve crop protection. More and more people are finding pigeon shooting is a cheap and rewarding form of shooting and a fabulous source of food. These courses cater for a range of abilities. They are designed for anyone from the novice taking up pigeon shooting to the more experienced shot."
