BASC has extended the guest gun insurance benefit for affiliated clubs and syndicates to include cover for beaters’ days.
Each year, in January or on 1 February, every affiliated club and syndicate can have one such day insured by BASC. As with general guest gun cover, this facility is only applicable to affiliated clubs and syndicates and is subject to the club/syndicate making a written record of all those who will be shooting.
BASC has also extended the insurance benefits for members in the gundog handler category to allow them two days cover for shooting in January or on 1 February, so they too can enjoy the opportunity to shoot on beaters’ day.
Director of business management, Philippa Bursey, said: “We are always striving to extend the benefits that BASC provides for its members. We hope that BASC affiliated clubs, syndicates and gundog handlers will enjoy utilising this new benefit.”
