As part of the BASC gundog presence at this year’s Midland Game Fair at Weston Park, we are excited to be running a ‘Gundog Pairs Test’ on Sunday 15 September.
This exciting addition to the BASC gundog presence is open to all recognised gundog breeds. The tests, in line with BASC rules, will be based on retrieving and will simulate retrieves that could happen on a shoot/picking up days. Dogs do not have to be Kennel Club registered and the competition is open to both BASC members and non-members.
Entries are limited to 15 pairs with each pair being made up of two handlers and two dogs. If oversubscribed, a draw will be held to decide successful pairs as well as the running order for the day. Successful pairs will be contacted after the draw has taken place to notify them as well as to arrange payment of the £30 (per pair) entry fee which includes two entry tickets to the Midland Game Fair.
