The Game Fair are once again giving BASC members complimentary entry and this year it’s easier than ever.
Members will be able to get access to the event, at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire from July 26 – 28, by producing just their BASC membership card and a valid photo ID.
They will be able to access any or all of the three days at any of the three admission gates using dedicated ‘BASC members’ lanes.
Steve Bloomfield, BASC’s executive director of shooting and operations, said: “The Game Fair is the fieldsports event of the year so what could be more fitting than complimentary entry for all BASC members.
“But don’t keep it to yourself, share the good news with family and friends. BASC members can purchase discounted tickets for their guests in advance and if you aren’t already a BASC member, join now and take advantage of complimentary entry to this fantastic fieldsports showcase event.”
BASC chairman Peter Glenser QC added: “We are so excited about the Game Fair we are counting down the days. I for one cannot wait to catch up with friends and celebrate everything good about the great British countryside.
“This utterly fantastic offer from The Game Fair is another excellent reason to be a member of BASC.”
Members can also purchase discounted guest tickets now either online here using the code BASCGUEST or via the ticketing hotline on 0844 8586759 (calls cost 7p per minute plus network charges).
Advance guest tickets are £25 plus a £1.95 admin fee instead of the gate price of £34. But guests must be accompanied by a member at the gate. These tickets must be purchased in advance, with no discounted tickets available on the day.
BASC members can also take advantage of reduced price VIP Enclosure Packages by using the code UPGRADES. This year menus for VIP Enclosure Package Holders have been created by James Martin with a focus on game and sustainability.
The Game Fair campsite is open from Wednesday 24th July. Visitors are able to book for three or five days with ‘Glamping’ options available.
Gemma Payne, The Game Fair head of marketing, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming many BASC members, family and friends to The Game Fair this July. Our partnership with BASC, now in its third year, is going from strength to strength and we have a whole host of exciting new features and attractions for visitors to enjoy.”
Non-members can also join BASC at the entry gates, on the day, and then make use of the complimentary entry using their membership receipt and a current photo ID.
