BASC gearing up for Broadlands Country Show

BASC will once again team up with Countryman Fairs for the Broadlands Country Show which is being held on Hampshire’s historic Broadlands Estate on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May.

BASC staff will be able to advise members on the current situation regarding general licences following Natural England’s revocation of three of the licences in England last week.

Visitors to the BASC stand will be able to get information and advice on game and deer management, firearms and membership services.

Regional representatives of BASC will be on hand to answer questions and sign up new members and representatives of Langstone and District wildfowling club will also be on the stand.

BASC-accredited coaches will be giving coaching lessons throughout the two days on the ever popular shotgun coaching line and next door will be the BASC airgun coaching stand where people can try airgun shooting.

Michelle Nudds from BASC South East said: “We are delighted once again to be attending the show at Broadlands where we have the opportunity to meet our members from across the South East, helping them with advice on things such as firearms licensing, gundog training, deer stalking courses and much more.

“It is also a great opportunity to promote the work of BASC such as our Young Shots events, Green Shoots Mapping and the promotion of game meat through our Taste of Game campaign.”
