BASC Wales team enjoyed hosting a fun-packed Young Shots Activity Day on Wednesday 31 October at the Grousemoor Country House in Llandegla.
A group of 26 boys and six girls (and parents too!) enjoyed trying their hand at a range of activities throughout the day in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Split into four groups of eight, the Young Shots spent an hour learning new skills on each activity, coached by qualified BASC staff and volunteers, which included clay pigeon shooting, archery, air-rifle target shooting and learning bushcraft skills.
The group enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits on arrival, a break for BBQ lunch, complete with Halloween-themed cupcakes and took away Young Shots goody bags and well-earnt certificates as a memento of the day. Stay tuned for more Young Shots events coming to Wales!
