BASC will have a presence at Countryman Fairs’ Midland Game and Country Fair, which will be held at Weston Park in Shropshire on 15th and 16th September.
Visitors to the BASC stand will be able to get information and advice on firearms, membership services, game and deer management, wildfowling, pigeon shooting, ladies’ shooting and Taste of Game.
Firearms enquiry officers from West Mercia Police will be on the stand along with members of BASC’s firearms team.
BASC will host a large area within the main stand where visitors can come in and enjoy a free tea or coffee served by the Dove Valley gundog club.
Matt Dutton, BASC’s regional officer for Central England, said: “We are looking forward to meeting members and new members at the Midland. We have made some changes to our stand for this year. The stand will be fresh and a place to watch things going on. Come along and see us, grab a few great deals on discounted products, have a brew and relax.”
BASC-accredited shotgun coaches will be giving coaching lessons throughout the two days on the coaching line and there will also be a BASC airgun coaching stand where people can try airgun shooting under the expert tuition of qualified airgun coaches.
The final of the BASC Chudleys Scurry League will be held on Saturday 15th September at the fair.
The event will also provide the last chance to enter the BASC Countryman Fairs 60 bird sporting clay shooting competition on the Saturday with the Grand Final being held on the Sunday.
