To celebrate the essential role that dogs play in shooting sports, BASC has launched its latest photographic competition – Dogs at Work.
The contest, which will run until midnight on September 30th, will showcase the unrivalled contribution of dogs to any successful day in the field.
Whether they are flushing birds, picking- up, on peg, tracking deer, in a hide or on the marsh the roles that dogs have in the field are essential and without their skills, enthusiasm and dedication our days would be very different.
By submitting their photographs, entrants are in with a chance of winning a Musto highland gore-tex jacket worth £550, while the runner-up will win a Tuffies durasoft nest dog bed worth £125.
BASC chairman Peter Glenser QC said: “Our previous photo competitions have proved popular and we hope that this one follows suit. So get snapping and send us in your photos for a chance to win these fantastic prizes.”
BASC social media officer Victoria Chesters said: “In the same spirit as giving our dogs an extra scoop of biscuits after a good day in the field, this competition is driven by the desire to recognise their companionship, dedication and a job well done.”
The competition is sponsored by Agria, providers of BASC’s gundog insurance.
To enter simply click here and upload your photo. The top six will then be selected and the photo which receives the most public votes will be named the winner.
