BASC has welcomed Murray Woodward as a new game and gamekeeping officer.
He will be based at the association’s head office in north Wales.
Murray grew up on a farm in Staffordshire and previously worked as a gamekeeper.
He said: “I am very excited to join BASC. I have a passion for the countryside and shooting and being given the opportunity to show the benefits of shooting and the work of BASC to our members and the wider audience is a real privilege. I am very much looking forward to getting out and about meeting our members.”
Glynn Evans, BASC’s head of game and deer management, said: “I am pleased to welcome Murray to the team. He has a wealth of knowledge and practical gamekeeping and shooting experience which will help us continue to deliver and further develop the services we provide to members.”
