BASC has appointed a new wildfowling officer. David Muldoon is chairman of Bridgwater Bay Wildfowlers, a member of Dorset Wildfowlers and a member of BASC’s Wildfowling Liaison Committee.
He said: “Like many of my fellow wildfowlers, I am passionate about preserving our way of life and was delighted to have be appointed BASC wildfowling officer. I am thrilled to be part of a team which is taking the aims and objectives of wildfowling into the 21st Century and I am very much looking forward to meeting my fellow wildfowlers around the country.”
Paul Williamson, BASC’s rural land development manager, said: “We are thrilled to welcome David to BASC. The wildfowling officer role at BASC is a key appointment and David has a wealth of experience. David will provide pivotal support in developing wildfowling policy and help to organise and contribute to the wide range of skills that BASC has to safeguard the future of wildfowling. David will also be making regular contact with wildfowling joint councils, statutory agencies, public bodies and other stakeholders across the UK”
John Dryden, a member of BASC Council and chairman of the association’s wildfowling liaison committee, said: “I am delighted with David’s appointment, the result of a closely fought contest between a high level of excellent candidates. I believe that David’s knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for our sport will be a welcome addition to the BASC team.”
David will be based in BASC’s South West office.
