BASC at The Game Fair 2017

BASC is gearing up for The Game Fair at Hatfield House which starts tomorrow.

The association will have a stand on Gunmakers’ Row, where expert staff will be on hand for the duration of the event.

BASC will also host clay and airgun coaching lines where people can try shooting for the first time or sharpen up their skills.

BASC’s stand will include sections on conservation, firearms and wildfowling.

There will also be a game and deer management section. A cookery theatre on the BASC stand will feature butchery and cookery demonstrations.

The Wildlife Habitat Trust will launch its 2017 fundraising stamp, Wigeon on the Dornoch Firth by Jonathan Latimer, at 11.30am on Friday 28th July.

BASC’s membership team will be on hand to sign-up new members and renew existing memberships. Members of the BASC Ladies Shooting Group will be on hand with information about courses and events and will host prize draws and competitions.

A Winchester shotgun supplied by Browning, a BSA airgun and a Vortex range finder are up for grabs in a BASC free prize draw. Essex Police will be on the BASC stand issuing one-for-one variations to firearm certificate holders from their force area.

Pigeon expert and ‘Cornish Countryman’ Chris Green will also be there to provide advice and expertise.

There will also be gundog scurries sponsored by Chudleys which are qualifiers for BASC’s scurry league competition.

BASC’s shotgun and airgun coaching at the Game Fair is sponsored by Browning, BSA, Eley and Promatic.

Huw Lloyd from BASC South East said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to The Game Fair. We have something for everyone at what is set to be one of the highlights of the Summer.”

Organisers of The Game Fair 2017 are offering BASC members complimentary entry to the event.
