BASC North members got into the festive spirit early as they raised nearly £200 for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer charity at a recent BASC council meeting.
The event was designed to allow members to put a face to the names of the BASC team and stimulate conversation and engagement about the local issues raised.
A number of meetings were held at The Inn at Whitewell with council members also taken on a forest trip to try to spot the elusive Sika Deer!
Duncan Thomas, BASC north director, said: “The Northern team were delighted to host BASC Council and I am extremely grateful to the members for taking the time to spend listening to members’ feedback and questions. Next time we will host in the North East.”
More meetings will take place in the New Year, which we will post across social media channels.
