BASC’s smartphone app has been downloaded more than 10,000 times since its launch last year.
The free app features all the latest news from the UK’s largest shooting organisation as well as information on events, training courses and members’ offers.
The app also serves as a mobile membership card to obtain discounts from BASC’s ever-expanding network of almost 200 trade members who give exclusive discounts of between 5-10 per cent on a range of goods and services.
Members can also use the app to watch BASC films on their mobile devices, check out the latest social media posts and read a mobile version of BASC magazine Shooting and Conservation.
David Ilsley, BASC’s head of marketing and membership services, said: “This App has proven extremely popular as a one-stop shop for anyone wanting to find out information about BASC and shooting.
“Mobile phones go almost everywhere with people now and so the app is a perfect companion for shooters. It puts a whole of range of information at people’s fingertips.”
The app is available for phones and tablets from the Apple App Store, Google Play and the Chrome Web Store by searching for ‘BASCAPP’.
