The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has recruited a further regional officer in South East and Southern England.
Michelle Nudds joins the South East team having previously worked in both regional and national roles at the Countryside Alliance.
Dan Reynolds, BASC director South East England, said: “I am delighted to welcome Michelle to the BASC team. Having worked in a similar role and with an in-depth knowledge of shooting, conservation and wider rural issues, Michelle brings real value to the regional team.
“In creating this new regional officer post, we are demonstrating our commitment to putting our members first. This new role will ensure that frontline services meet the demands of our growing membership.”
Michelle Nudds said: “I am really looking forward to joining BASC and the team here in the South East. Having a passion for shooting and conservation means I get to work on projects such as Green Shoots, Taste of Game and Young Shots days to name but a few, plus the opportunity to communicate the work of BASC to its members and the wider audience.”
BASC’s membership is at its highest ever level, standing at over 144,500 nationally.
