A pre-season clay shoot and game barbecue to support young shots is being held at the Southdown Gun Club in West Sussex on 26th September.
Under-21s can have a free lesson provided by BASC-accredited shotgun coaches and there will be reduced fees for BASC members and for anyone introducing a person new to the sport.
For experienced shots there is a 100-bird sporting costing £28 for BASC members, £36 for non-members or 50 birds at half price. You can introduce a friend to shooting for just £10 – that includes tuition from an accredited coach and ten shots.
There will also be air rifle target shooting and a free prize draw.
Justin Clarke from BASC South East said: “It’s a great chance to warm-up for the season, introduce newcomers to the sport, meet BASC’s South East team, enjoy a game barbecue and know that all the profits will be devoted to the Young Shots programme in the South East.”
The event has been organised by BASC’s Sussex Social Committee and individuals, clubs and syndicates are all very welcome, just turn up on the day. The event starts at 10am on 26th September at Southdown Gun Club, Muntham Farm, Findon, West Sussex BN14 0RQ.
