A series of shooting and game-related demonstrations will take place on the BASC stand at the Scottish Game Fair this weekend.
There will be food demonstrations with Scotland’s Natural Larder (SNL) throughout the event, showcasing game and featuring preparation, cooking and tastings.
Rabbit lasagne, game curry, Spanish gooseballs and pheasant-a-leekie soup are some of the recipes that will be showcased. Timings will be displayed at the SNH and BASC stands daily.
The annual ‘best in show’ game burger and sausage competition will take place on Saturday. Herve Tabourel from Pig Halle restaurant in Perth will be a guest judge. Previous entries have included a ‘McNab’ and a ‘Wader’ burger. Judging will take place at 2pm on Saturday.
BASC will also have a series of demonstrations and talks over the weekend that will take place alongside SNL.
