The UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has teamed up with premier country sports retailer Orvis to host a South West members’ social evening in Sherborne on 24th April.
The evening will provide members with the opportunity to both socialise and get expert advice on firearms, game keeping, fly fishing and wildfowling. BASC members will get a £25 discount on any purchases over £50.
Speakers will include Bill Harriman, BASC’s director of firearms and a regular on the Antiques Roadshow, Orvis in-house expert John McGrath, gamekeeper Dawn Warr and Nick Millman -a farmer, wildfowler, cider maker and sporting press regular.
David Gervers, BASC’s South West director, said: “We are looking forward to meeting BASC members at Orvis in Sherborne. Our members’ events provide an opportunity to meet other members and staff from our South West team will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions.”
The event will be held at Orvis, Cheap Street, Sherborne, Dorset, on 24th April from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from the BASC South West office. Call 01884 260910 or email southwest@0ld.basc.org.uk for more information.
