Twelve youngsters attended the Wash Wildfowlers’ Joint Council’s Wildfowling Course which was held at Heacham in Norfolk on 30 October. The youngsters learnt about safety on the foreshore as well as taking part in practical sessions on hide building, decoying and shooting from different positions. In the evening, all the youngsters had an opportunity to have a flight out on the Wash where they were taken out by guides from the Heacham, Kings Lynn and Fenland Wildfowlers. All the youngsters enjoyed their day and grateful thanks go to the Heacham Wildfowlers for the use of their clay ground and facilities.
